Service Description
Are you ready to transform your yard into a beautiful oasis but don't know where to start? Then you're in the right spot! This 1 hour session will help you find your starting point, define your goals, and send you on your way to creating your dream outdoor space. Some example topics of discussion and choices for further coaching sessions are; planning and planting a vegetable garden; attracting pollinators, insects, wildlife and gardening to benefit them; lawn alternatives; low-maint/ eco-friendly yard maintenance; curb appeal; rain gardens; permaculture/ editable landscapes, and seasonal gardening tasks. Consultation Includes : - A pre-visit questionnaire so that we can hit the ground running and no time is wasted during the consultation. - Site walk through (30-minutes) where we will discuss how to conduct a basic site analysis and identify both native and invasive plants. - 30-minutes working together either in the garden or setting up your garden design/plan - A lifetime membership to our online gardening community. A great way to get ecological and gardening questions answered and to learn new tips and tricks. - BONUS #1: Instructional demonstrations of useful phone applications. - BONUS #2: Welcome Packet full of useful planning pages, references, and local resources. After visit: Choosing to purchase a DIY Nature Garden Coaching plan will allow you to learn a number of eco-gardening skills over the course of your enrollment. Coaching sessions are either weekly or bi-weekly (charged monthly) and are typically accompanied by various reference materials. If you choose to completely DIY your project once you have your starting point figured out, you will still have access to our online DIY Nature Ecological Gardening Mob forum in case you have any questions or just want to share your progress. We also offer helping hands and body doubling, (pay by the hour) if you need assistance with various tasks during your project. (email for details)
