Great for DIY retirees! Have you had your fill of gardening but love the idea of having a fancy, sustainable sanctuary in your backyard? We're here to help with our Eco Maintenance Services. We mix skill and green practices to ensure your garden is a resilient, vibrant ecosystem hub. Not just good for you, but a big thumbs up from Mother Nature too! What Eco Maintenance Service Is: - Sustainable Weeding: We keep your garden functioning its best with eco-friendly techniques that protect the soil and beneficial insects. - Plant Bully Prevention: Regular inspections ensure unwelcome species can’t throw a garden coup. - Soil Health Improvement: Using nutrient rich plant matter from your garden will boost soil fertility and structure with composting and organic amendments. - Habitat Creation: Design and maintain mini garden features that attract and support birds, bees, butterflies, and other beneficial wildlife. As a passionate gardener and naturalist, I’m committed to nurturing your garden while preserving the environment. Services are tailored to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. During our initial 30 minute consultation, we will discuss your garden goals and assess for any invasive species. Next Steps & Costs: - If you choose to sign up for our Eco Maintenance Service subscription, $25 of the consultation fee will be applied toward your first scheduled maintenance service. The first maintenance visit will start at $45 and be based on the garden’s current condition. All following service visits will be billed at $45 each and can either be weekly or bi-weekly. - Our maintenance services run March thru November. What our Eco Maintenance Service Is Not: - DIY Nature is in the business of educating folks about the earth under and around them. We do not offer lawn services, tree removal, excavation, or car washes. FAQ: What locations do you work within? - Woodbridge, Dale City, Lorton, Manassas What if I want to do the maintenance, but need help? - Yay for DIYers! We offer a 10% discount for those who would prefer we help them around the yard vs us doing all of the work. What type of maintenance is not included? - Anything other than general maint. can be added on at an extra cost. Including, but not limited to, vegetable garden maint., bird bath and feeder cleaning, rain barrel installation, small tree/shrub removal, pond clean-up, planter and raised garden bed maint., soil testing, garden decor cleaning, and watering.
